Many people at this point wonder why? Well, there can be at least several reasons for this, namely:
- they are cheaper to purchase than their larger counterparts
- they are cheaper to operate, as they consume less fuel
- thanks to their small size, it’s much easier to maneuver them in small spaces, such as narrow corridors, and medium warehouses
Thanks to their low weight, they are also perfectly suited for loading and unloading goods from truck trailers and more, as this way we can avoid floor collapse – this is particularly important in the case of slightly older, already worn trailers.

Absolutely not – in most cases they are serviced exactly the same as any other forklift. However, it should be remembered that you shouldn’t do this yourself, as it can be literally disastrous – a much better solution is to entrust the servicing of our forklifts to a professional service – this type of forklift maintenance and repairs is carried out by the FLT group.

Purchasing a forklift up to 1.5 tons can turn out to be a proverbial bullseye if we don’t necessarily need a large, heavy forklift. It’s worth considering its purchase, especially since their prices are often much more competitive than their larger counterparts. You shouldn’t look for apparent savings on repairs and general servicing and try to do it yourself – a much better solution may be to entrust this task to a professional service.
