Purpose of manual trucks
Manual trucks are primarily used for moving goods in narrow rooms / corridors (they are agile and compact). They often constitute equipment for delivery vehicles. Thanks to the weight they have, they can be used to observe the weight of goods intended for shipment (preparation for transport). Pallet jacks are also used for working with salt solutions and acidic substances (galvanized trucks).
Construction of manual pallet trucks
Pallet jacks can transport empty and loaded pallets over short distances. Goods can be lifted by the truck to a height of up to 20 cm (standard truck), or up to 2 meters (manual pallet truck with mast). Traditional pallet trucks are built from: tiller, frame, pump, forks, rollers, wheels, mast (mast pallet trucks have them). Due to fork length, pallet jacks are distinguished by short forks (length up to 80 cm) and long pallet trucks (having forks of 180 cm, 200 cm and more in length).
