FLT company was founded by two friends: Artur and Michał. Their friendship began in 2003, when they met at a company dealing with the sale and service of forklifts. Even then, they didn’t think they would permanently connect with the industry, and their professional relationship would take on a completely different, business dimension. As colleagues, they got to know each other from the best side: Artur, being part of the sales department, had excellent relationships with clients, and Michał, using his enormous technical knowledge, was the best in his field. Three years later, like a bolt from the blue, came the news about the closure of the Lower Silesian branch of the company. Such news is usually received with anxiety and disappointment, but not for our heroes. In this uncomfortable situation, they saw a huge opportunity to organize work on their own terms and start their own business. Beginnings are never easy, they are always accompanied by a sense of uncertainty, questions about finances, about profit and loss balance arise.

But those who don’t take risks lose twice. Therefore, they reached an agreement with their former employer regarding the care of existing clients from the region and decided to fight for their own place in the forklift industry market.

Like every self-respecting company, we started in a garage – Artur laughs as he recalls the beginnings of FLT. A bold comparison, considering what giants started this way, but there’s no doubt: you have to model yourself on the best! The division of responsibilities was clear from the very beginning. Artur took responsibility for the then-provisional sales department, and Michał took care of service-related matters. The command center was located in the kitchen at Michał’s house – where children were running around, whom they tried in vain to convince that telephone conversations with contractors require silence and concentration. Along with Michał’s and Artur’s children, the network of suppliers and customers grew, as well as the fleet of forklifts. The garage was converted into a makeshift workshop, where Michał reigned.

Every penny earned went into investments. After a few months, they managed to rent a premises where Michał already had a professional service room at his disposal. From month to month, the company grew, and they began hiring their first employees. After less than a few years, space began to run out, and then the decision was made for another move. The new place, in Wrocław’s Psie Pole district, seemed huge at the moment of signing the lease agreement. The FLT partners wondered if they needed such a large space. Time verified these concerns. This place instantly filled with people and machines – recalls Michał.

And then the thought, or rather the dream of building their own headquarters, began to germinate. Initially a timid idea gained more and more color from month to month. The die was cast in 2015 – the gentlemen made a bold decision. The search for a location began, and then a project for the perfect building was created. Two years later, in November, the first spade was driven into the ground. The move took place at the turn of February and March 2020. After overcoming a long road and many difficulties, great joy and pride remained from another achieved goal.

This slogan refers not only to the nature of the industry in which we operate, but above all to our aspirations. We face new challenges ahead, but what is important and constitutes a solid foundation of FLT – Fantastic People Create this company!

Our passions are maintained in the automotive zone. Therefore, it shouldn’t be a big surprise that we caught the rally bug. Accidental participation in an amateur race ended with cooperation with the extremely hardworking and engaged Skrądź Rally Team. The potential, enthusiasm and high aspirations of Michał and Przemek, who form the Team Skrądź duo, won our hearts, hence we decided to support them in their efforts to fight for the podium in subsequent competitions.
