What types of forklift tires exist?
Several types of forklift tires can be found for sale. These include:
- Pneumatic tires – diagonal and radial;

Pneumatic Forklift Tires
There are 2 types of pneumatic forklift tires – diagonal and radial. The first ones are marked with the symbol 23×9–10, radial tires are assigned the designation 23x9R10. What is worth knowing about them? Among other things, that pneumatic tires are mounted on a rim using an inner tube and protector. A very important aspect during their installation is also maintaining the appropriate pressure recommended by the tire manufacturer. It is also worth mentioning that diagonal pneumatic tires are characterized by very good stability and resistance to sidewall damage. On the other hand, radial pneumatic tires provide better driving comfort and have low rolling resistance.

Superelastic Forklift Tires
Solid tires, often also referred to as superelastic forklift tires, are a product that we can sincerely recommend to our customers. Unlike pneumatic tires, they are much more resistant to punctures. This is all thanks to the construction of these tires, which additionally increases their durability.
Therefore, it is worth using them everywhere where forklift tires are exposed to very intensive operation. What’s more, they can also be mounted on the same rim as pneumatic tires. When deciding to choose them, however, one must remember about less cushioning and mandatory replacement on specialized hydraulic presses.
