Warranty on used forklifts FLT
The seller provides warranty on used forklifts purchased at FLT Grupa Sp. z o.o. FLT guarantees to the owner of each used forklift that within the time period specified in the order, in case of manufacturing, material or assembly defects, it will repair free of charge or replace any defective part with a new/working one, except for the following exclusions.
Warranty services are provided only in the country where the used forklift was purchased.
Used forklifts are equipment in continuous operation and requiring regular maintenance. Therefore, the warranty does not cover only the following components/systems of forklifts: seals, including engine seals, bearings, brake and exhaust systems, electrical wires and connections, controller software, flexible hydraulic hoses and quick couplings, wheels, tires, rims, batteries and rectifiers, galvanized elements, equipment and modifications mounted on the local market, forks, grippers and other forklift attachments, clutches (including hydrokinetic) and cooperating elements, drive belts and control cables, friction elements, consumable parts (including fluids, fuses, filters, bulbs, gas converter membranes, slides, wiper blades, etc.)
The warranty does not cover damage (including mechanical) and defects caused by:
– accidents, fire, theft or burglary
– use of improper or contaminated fuels, fluids or lubricants
– non-compliance with proper operation principles (see – Operating Manual) or recommended service intervals.
– damage resulting from delayed fault reporting and failure to perform daily maintenance activities, e.g. forklift cleaning, cooling system and radiator cleaning.
– use of oils and lubricants not provided for in the operating manual in daily operation.
– independent installation or mounting of additional equipment by the customer;
The warranty does not cover reimbursement of additional costs related to damage repair and related costs, e.g. telephone costs, costs of renting replacement machines, transport, travel and accommodation costs, business losses and time losses.
Equipment Owner’s obligations:
– Immediate reporting of defects to FLT Grupa Sp. z o.o.
– Performing daily forklift maintenance in accordance with recommendations described in the operating manual.
– Proper use of the forklift, care for its condition and adherence to the inspection calendar.
– Reporting the need for inspection or repair to FLT’s Authorized Service during its office hours.
– Obtaining confirmation of performed periodic inspection in the register.
– Using the forklift in accordance with its intended purpose and adapting the method of its operation and storage to external conditions.
Commencing the removal and removing the reported defect will be undertaken without undue delay, no later than within 7 days from the date of fault reporting.
In justified cases, the deadline may be extended (ordering by the guarantor of parts necessary for repair from the manufacturer outside Poland.)
