Pallet trucks with mast

The operating range of pallet trucks with mast is significantly expanded compared to lifting pallet trucks. They are helpful not only for order picking, but also for storing goods on high warehouse shelves. The ability for vertical transport makes pallet trucks with mast an alternative to high-lift forklifts. Structurally, they are much smaller than forklifts, making them more maneuverable and requiring less space for movement and maneuvering.

However, it should be noted that the performance of pallet trucks will not be as high as with forklifts, and if warehouse operations are focused on vertical transport, it’s worth choosing the latter type of vehicle. A pallet truck with mast will be ideal for work where horizontal transport dominates, and the need to lift loads to height appears sporadically. These are the most expensive devices among all pallet trucks, but their efficiency is also the highest. Adapted for work over long distances, they will find application in production facilities, warehouses, wholesale stores, or retail shops.

Pallet trucks with mast manual and electric

Manual pallet trucks can have a load lifting height of up to 2 meters (they will work perfectly, for example, when unloading transport vehicles in places where there is no ramp). Electric pallet trucks with built-in mast can lift loads to heights of even 4-5 meters.

Mast in pallet trucks

By design, pallet trucks have a low lifting height – usually up to about 20 cm. However, equipping them with a mast gives them completely new properties. This structural element of the truck is responsible for lifting, lowering, and stably maintaining the load at a certain height.
