Among electrical protective elements, one can also mention fuses of various types. Their function is to automatically disconnect circuits when any irregularities are detected. Fuse links are designed to prevent short circuits and overloads. Thermal ones cause the device to shut down after exceeding the permitted temperature, and time fuses after a given time has elapsed. An important element is also the presence of an ignition switch that is properly secured. Thanks to this, the forklift cannot be started by persons who are not authorized to do so. An essential element of this type of safety features is also an emergency switch.

The vehicle can be equipped with an appropriate system that prevents driving before the driver fastens the seat belts. The forklift can only be used in situations where appropriate safety requirements are met. Electrical safety features are also designed to stabilize the vehicle’s position.
